New movies are not immediately offered online because movie studios and distributors typically follow a traditional release schedule to maximize their profits. This staggered release strategy allows them to capitalize on different revenue streams and reach a wider audience. Additionally, movie theaters often have exclusive rights to screen new releases for a certain period of time before they become available for online streaming. **
